- Three
new additional terminals- Bhopatpur, Pilibhit & Bisalpur were
commissioned which generated 3.32 Crore revenue.
- On
request of TATA Motors, Silchar, Sal chappra, of NFR & Jolarpattei of
SR opened for NMG unloading which generated revenue of Rs. 1.02 crore in
IZN division.
- First
time private parties loaded PSC sleeper in revenue from BUW & LKU
which generated Rs. 2.75 crore.
- As
there was increase of 136% in Freight revenue from automobile. Two new
locations viz Nautanva & Bakshi ka Talab has been opened for
automobile traffic.
- As there was increase of 83% Freight revenue through sugar traffic, 17 Two Point additional rake combinations have been opened in April 2021.
Passenger Revenue:

UTS
mobile ticketing has been started at all the locations of NER. As the COVID
cases will decrease and more unreserved trains gets operational, this ticketing
platform will result in saving of staff cost, Plant & Machinery cost to a
great extent.

Power
car has been replaced by LSLRD coach in 19 HOG trains with LHB coaches. This
will increase 31 sitting (2S) per LSLRD, this will increase passenger revenue.
Replacing more LSLRD coaches in HOG trains will generate more revenue.
NFR:
•
Contactless
Ticket screening, Thermal Screening & Sanitisation work at Lucknow Jn.
& Gorakhpur Jn. is being done as an earning contract with revenue of Rs. 1
lakh & savings over Rs. 50 Lakhs per annum.
•
PBCM
: Tender for 110 machines (IZN-65 & LJN-45) was finalised with annual
revenue of Rs, 2.35 lakhs and savings of approx. Rs. 2 crore.
• Outsourcing of ORH and TTE running room in LJN division & Waiting room in IZN division. Total revenue of Rs. 5.42 lakhs will be generated per annum. It will save railway revenue of approx. Rs. 75 lakhs per year.
